Working at the intersection of Engineering and Healthcare

Andreas Fouras completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Queensland before moving to Melbourne to begin his research career. First completing his Masters of Engineering Science, and then completing his postdoctoral studies in the Development of the Technology for Quantitative Imaging in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. After graduation, his career exploded, winning many grants and awards. The announcement of his promotion to Professor in November 2014, a mere six years after graduation, is a testament to the passion and quality of his work.
